Kitchen Extractor Fan

I recently bought a house where the original kitchen extractor hood has been replaced with a smaller one leaving holes of original fitting exposed. I want to replace the hood to cover up those holes but struggle to find the perfect matching hood on the market so i presume some tailored fitting is needed. The wall is covered with (presumably) toughen glass making it impossible to drill. Any help as to who can help is much appreciated.
