Kitchen extractor hood not working properly leaving heavy air why?

Posted by Urmi Chattopadhyay, on
Kitchen extractor hood not working properly as it is inefficient to extract smoke originating from cooking hub leaving heavy air in kitchen. also the under surface of the hood is gathering oil which drops to the hub if not wiped daily

Check and replace the filter if it is recirculating. If external vented check for blockages. Be aware the extractor will need the electric supply shutting off before you open it up.

Hi Manash, Have you checked if your hood is vented out side and if the vent is clear. Also have you checked the filters inside the extractor. If you post the job lead on rated people, you will be contacted by someone who will beable to help. Goodluck
