I need a new gas hob installed above an electric oven. there is also the old freestanding gas cooker to come out. The new hob is to be installed on the opposite wall to the existing cooker (and closer to the gas main/meter) so I'm hoping the existing gas pipe can just be taken back to the new position, they are even in line with each other. Is this possible? Also how is the gas fed up/around the oven to the hob and how much needs to be in place before I fit the kitchen units?
