Renovate house inside?

What's the best way to renovate a house internally whilst still living in it? Virtually all rooms need replastering as they have the pimple artex everywhere. Kitchen is very old and needs replacing along with all internal doors and. There's a covered in our area with toilet and cupboard and not sure what I could do with that.
