I need to change my electric oven to a new one. There is the pipe gas to feed the hob at the back ot the oven unit. If I fit a single oven that is 500mm deep, there will be a gap of 40mm between the oven and the gas pipe. I would think it is enough but could you let me know?
The current oven has a weird shape and so the gap is bigger.
If 40mm isnlt good enough, wany way to have like a cover installed on the pipe to protect it from the heat supplied by the oven.
