Builder refusing to give keys back

I've had to let go of a kitchen fitter who let me down badly. I've asked for my keys back and I've chased several times but to no avail. What can I do to get my keys back?

Hi Monia I would recommend you change the locks that you gave him the keys for just for peace of mind, especially if you have parted on bad terms. Ed
