Replacing 4 burner gas hob with 5 burner gas hob

I have a 4 burner gas hob 59cm width, is it possible to replace it with a 5 burner gas hob about 10-15 cm more wider than original when I replace my worktop? I have cupboards on both side of extractor fan (60cm width) and cupboards on both side of the oven sitting right below. Thanks

Hi K you will need to move the wall cupboards either side of the extractor as they would now be sitting over the new wider hob, so a potential fire risk! Ed
