Hi Heather, Thanks for your question! The tradesperson who has contacted you might've just joined Rated People in the last year. However, a good, quality tradesperson should have a portfolio of previous work. tradespeople can upload photos of past projects, qualifications and a description of their services on their Rated People profile. I'd definitely suggest you ask to see this information if it's not on their profile, and you can also ask them for customer references.
