Fitted kitchen

Posted by Maura Heslin, on
I had a new kitchen from Woodies and the fitter also fit a new Belfast sink . The work myopic is wooden and it was never sealed and now the presses are damp and warped . Woodies are saying that is is the plumbers responsibility to seal it although this was never stated and it was the footer who cut the wood around the sink and fitted the sink . Who is at fault

Hi Maura, A lot of people work differently and some trades help each other out by doing things to make each other lives a bit easier, but on this one I would say who ever set the sink in place in it’s fixed position is the one who would be at fault. You would need to seal it before it’s fixed. Hope you have resolved your situation now. Kind regards Jordan @ priority carpentry services
