What kind of kitchen countertop support do I require?

So I'll be removing one lower kitchen cupboard to create room for a full-size dishwasher. Because there is already a 45cm gap between the two cabinets, the countertop will be 100cm freestanding from the next cabinet. What form of support, such as table legs, brackets, or a smaller cabinet, would be preferable while not costing more than £40?
