Should I book a job of replacing my gas cooker?

I would like to replace my gas cooker, but new cooker info says: ‘Suitable for use with LPG, adaptor kit included.’ Is it easy enough to use adaptor kit? Should I buy the cooker? Should I book a job to replace the cooker?
