I own two brick built garden walls that suffer from frost damage every year. The brick surfaces are breaking up as is some of the morter. It was suggested (in a magazine artical) that the wals would best be rendered. What is this? If this would be a cure I have a feeling that, as both the walls front a public footpath, our local council may need to be involved.
