Condensation and mould, plastering

Posted by Hilary Sard, on
I've just bought a house and there's mould in the walk-in wardrobe. I've bought a dehumidifier (house has quite a bit of condensation), I'm going to remove the chipboard shelves and give the walls a good scrub with dilute bleach. But the survey said it may have gotten into the plaster - can it do that and would that need re skimming or new plasterboard and skimming?

Yes it can get through to the plastering and scrubbing the walls is not the answer The render has to be hack off taken back to the brickwork then re rendered with water proofer Then skimmed
