Hi Carol . I do not advise you to do this, as it is a cosmetic repair. To the previous comment I want to add that the same should be considered and the ground water that may seep out of the ground. In the past era of construction (1918), you must take into account the aging and destruction of the waterproof membrane if it had taken place. Possible for your home to special chemical injection, repair cracks in the wall, replacing bricks, etc. more specific advice, you can contact our specialists. Regards Sergejs

it may not only be the render cracking causing the damp , there will be cracking in the main wall if water and damp is penetrating to the inside of your property. I would recommend to take off all the render of the problem area and have a good inspection of the condition of your house wall.

What would you like to do now?
