Yes you can but you would need to use a fire resistant cement at the Ratio of 6&1 cement

Yes but do a 5 sand 1 cement and 1 lime mix and that will be fine

Yes sand ,cement ,& lime ,then skim with Victas Heat Resistant plaster, Victas plaster is very expensive though
