First thing to try is fill all cracks with decor fill. Sand and repaint. If cracks still appear then the only alternative is too caredully knock it all out slip a foam insulating sleave over the pipe.. Plaster an paint

The heat will be causing the cracking. Did you allow the plaster to fully dry before turning radiator on?
It sounds as if the plaster has dried too fast around the pipes any good plasterer from rated people will come out and have a look and give u a free quote for the work.this is not a big job there are also other causes it could just be badly done no tapes or pva you haven't mentioned if it's a brick wall or stud wall
Hi Sam Problem is a heat. Pipes should be insulated if boxed in by plasterboard and skimmed over. You can sand and fill crackes with polyfiller. But I would suggest to insulate pipe first as this problem can occur in near future. I hope this can help Best regards Rafal
pipes expand when hot and contract when they cool down
