if you want to use the same plaster as was used orignally then it has to be either a hydraulic mix or 2.5 lime : washed sand , or use a lime putty. never ever use building sand in a render or plaster mix it will crack it has clay particles in it, only use washed sand

Hi Nick,i usualy make a mix using 1 part of lime +1 part of cement+4 part of building sand +water and this proportion can give you light coulor
