Rendering the Second Floor of our property

The second floor of our property is an extension and needs the rendering replacing. When is the best time to get this sorted?

Hi Caroline The slower cement hydrates (sets) the stronger it will be. The damper the weather, without it really pouring with rain, the better. As long as it's not frosty and the temparature is 5 degrees and rising that's fine. It can be done in sunlight, but has to be kept damp until it sets. Hope this helps JC

I would wait for spring to be safe , unless you can waterproof scratch coat & leave top coat till better weather G . Branch plastering

Hi Caroline when it is warm not in the winter cause the render will freeze and not stick to the wall regards steve
