Not seen the lead but it could be to do with the budget. If it's too low we (tradesmen) can only assume you will not be willing to accept a realistic quote and we will be wasting our time (and money buying the lead). If it's set too high the price of the lead for us becomes expensive. Also have you suggested that you are just looking for prices and it may not be a firm job? Again this would deter people from purchasing the lead. Hope this helps in some way. Karl

Hi Pip I am sure that is something with a budget. I would suggest to post your job description on main website with a budget under 100 and explanation that you understand that is going to cost more then 3 companies will contact you shortly to obtain a quote. You would be able to see customers reviews on their profile so you will hire the best one. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal

Hello Pip, It's quite complicated to explain, but if you put down the following you will receive a response. I'm looking for a plasterer my .....,,,,I know how this site works, budget £100 Then when he calls you tell him about the floor tiles. If he says he's not interested in the floor tilling then put the tiling job on This is a free service to you and have nothing to lose. There have been some major changes to this site and tradesmen are carful about what they buy. Regards Michael

A plasterer won't be interested in replacing 2 floor tiles and will think he has to do it as well as the plastering. Advertise your plastering work on it's own and find a handyman to do the tiles. You won't get anyone from Rated People to do the tiles. Every contact costs the Tradesman money so no one will want to pay £10 for a contact to a potential £30 job.
