Removal of Polystyrene ceiling tiles

I have removed polystyrene ceiling tiles and can't get rid of all the deposits of glue blobs. Can the ceiling be plastered over? I wanted to avoid overboarding as I didn't want to remove coving and disturb the rest of the walls.

Yes the ceiling can be skimmed , would need to be PVA'd first.

Yes it can just have to be Pva & two coats of plaster G. Branch plastering

Hi Carol Yes it can be skim over but it required primer First as multifinish won't stick properly Regards Rafal

Yes Carol The blobs would give it a good key. Make sure you give it a coat of p.v.a. Adhesive first, You can get this from most builders merchants JC
