Rendering my 1905 mid-terraced (rear of the property)

Rendering my 1905 mid-terraced (rear of the property) I would like to have the rear of my 1905 mid-terrace property rendered. Using a coloured render presumably a polymer based render that should allow the property to "breathe" also it should help with patches of porous brick that let's in a little damp occasionally during heavy rain and tidy up the rear which has three different brick types (original, some added goodness knows when and some on a small kitchen extension a year ago) thank you for looking
