It's best to completely re skim ceiling , trying to patch up with artex wouldn't match in very well G , branch plastering

Hi there,is the patch dried? Or if it's wet? Do you want to paint it and the paint doesn't cover it? If that's the case,buy some undercoat paint( wood paint),paint over the patch,and next day paint the colour you like,and you wont see the patch any more. I hope the answer was helpful.
