Sinking plasterboard ceiling

Posted by Lee , on
I have plasterboard ceilings and they are sinking in the middle between the joists along the entire length of the room. What is the best way to fix this? Can you fix the existing plasterboard? Should you put up new plasterboard - in this case what would stop the same thing happening again? Or should you put up new joists?

You will have to put in a few noggins in between joists , & re tack ceiling , it might be when tacked they haven't joined boards On the joists & that's why it's sagging , you won't know until you pull one down G, branch plastering

What would you like to do now?
