We have recently had a totally artexed room simmed over. Thd plasterer used pva glue then skimmed over it. Now that its drying a lot of the pattern seems to be re appearing even though the surface feels smooth.

When it's painted the pattern will disappear.

Hi cathleen it is properly drying out , we're the plaster goes on the ceiling , it's thicker in places so if you had a swirl pattern It will appear you can see the pattern still . When fully dry will all be one colour . Should not be able to feel pattern G.branch plastering
