When the paper is removed there might only be a few patches that need a backing coat , but I would imagine The rest will need a skim coat G branch plastering

Just bought an old house, covered in wallpaper and guessing the plaster is blown. if I remove it is there any other options other than a full replaster? the whole house is wallpapered.
