Plastering in 1930s house

Posted by Diane Judd, on
Hi removed fitted wardrobe and a lot of plaster came off in one corner revealing bare brick. Subsequent stripping of wall paper revealed plaster not in good shape in various other places on walls. Have had different advice as to fix. Either patch and skim or remove all plaster, hardwall and skim. Is it worth taking all plaster off or will patching up be okay?
