Hi Wendy, Wall has dried out to quickly hence the cracks you are seeing. What should have been done is to pva wall before plastering it I would pva the wall and skim it again .hope this helps.

Plastering. cracks in new plaster. My newly plastered wall looks like a road map. How do I eradicate this problem and is it serious

need to check wall is not blown you can do this by tapping wall checking for hollows if ok then fill cracks with fine filler this normally happens if wall drys to quick all ways best to let plaster dry naturaly rather than heaters
