Leak from ceiling

Need repair for damp area in ceiling (20cm diameter circle) caused by leak from flat above. What sort of work does this require from my side, after the plumbing has been resolved from upstairs. (ie. Repair/plaster/painting). And is the damage quite superficial.

Cut out the damaged area of ceiling,to the centre of nearest joist,plasterboard and skim,or plasterboard the hole then PVA the whole ceiling and re skim.quite a straightforward job DS PlasterersHalifax
