I have a recessed alcove in an upstairs bedroom which I have found damp in. It is connected to an outside wall and I don't know if this is a roofing issue (I think unlikely as it is on the floor and I can't see anything else above it) or someone to render the stonework outside of the house. Any idea who I should approach?
