Posted by Anne Worth, on
If I hire a plasterer from rated people, are they supposed to clean up after themselves?? Also if they have dropped plaster over rugs and furniture as well as bedding what advice would you provide please?

Hi Anne, it is the total responsibility of the plasterer to cover furniture / carpets when doing a job and needs to be insured for any mishaps. As Natalie said ask him to return sort it. These sort of problems often occurs when you hire the tradesman who gives you the lowest quote. It is always important to check the tradesman's profile page and ratings from previous jobs before hiring rather than go on just price .

Hi Anne, I'm sorry to hear that. Have you raised this with the tradesperson you hired? If you haven't, I'd recommend that you do this first and kindly ask them to rectify it. If you need further help after this, our Customer care team are on hand to advise. You can contact them through ratedpeople(dot)com/contact-us and a member of the team will be back in touch to help. Thanks, Natalie Ask an expert team
