Hi Charnine, Yes - once a job is posted on our site, we send a description of the job to tradespeople registered with us, whose work area and skills match those of the job. Up to three tradespeople can then purchase the job lead for the chance to quote on the work. It is then down to you to carry out checks and decide which of these tradespeople, if any, you'd like to hire. If this tradesperson has bought your job lead, we will have emailed you to let you know. That email will contain a link to their profile page which will display any ratings and reviews they've received from previous homeowners, plus our homeowner checklist which gives you advice on further checks.
