Removing pebbledashing and rendering - ballpark cost

Posted by Priyesh Mistry, on
Hi. Me and my wife are looking to make an offer on a small detached house which is quite dated and requires a lot of work. One of the main things we want to address is removing the pebble dashing that the house is covered in and then render it. All the windows require replacing as well, so we thought it's probably best to do this at the same time (well just before I guess). We just wanted to know: A) What should we expect the cost to be for removing all the pebbledash from the house and getting the house re-rendered? (According to the ground floor floorplan approx 906 SQ.FT / 84.2 SQ.M with the upstairs being about 660 SQ.FT/61.3 SQ.M) B) How long should we expect this to take? C) How much should we expect to pay for getting all the windows and front door replaced? (Approx 10 windows, including 2 bay windows)

Hi Priyesh I can only give you advice on the plastering you should expect to pay around £8,000 to hack off and re-render 140 m2 labour scaffolding and materials if it's awkward access etc maybe more I'd have to see it which I obviously can't but that's a round about figure thanks Jon
