How much does it cost to have artex ceilings skimmed smooth?

How much should I budget for having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ceilings skimmed? They have swirly artex at the moment. Also, how long would it take? They are average size rooms

Hi Diane It would take around 2-3 days dependant on how long the prep work would take a reasonable daily rate for a plasterer is around £150-£180 depending on your area plus about £50 for materials hope that helps Kind regards Owen
