What type of professional do I need for this job?

Posted by Steven Blackery, on
In my house, plasterboard is attached to the walls via a frame - the walls feel 'hollow' when tapped except for vertical and horizontal lines where the frame exists behind. Some of that plasterboard has become water-damaged after a flood and needs to be replaced. What professional would I hire to remove the damaged area and replace it? I'm aware I would use a plasterer to skim it after the new plasterboard is in place.

Hi Steven, you would need a plasterer to complete the job for you. We have done jobs similar to this and our specialist plasterer would be more than capable of addressing the issues you have. We would also be more than happy to come and look and give you any further advice and a quote. Many thanks, Sophie @ Hilton Homes.
