Plasterboard Ceiling

I currently have a textured ceiling in the living room which is 5.3mx2.5m. I want to plasterboard over it for a smooth finish. How much approximately would I have to pay a plasterer to do this and skim over it after? Also do I only have to provide the plasterboard or other materials too or does the plasterer have those?

The price is about £300-£400 to board and finish but can vary in size of ceiling and if a electrician is required to take down lights

If you’re ceiling is in good condition you can plaster over it using bonding plaster and multi finish . Boarding can be done too but is a expense you might not need. Plasterers supplies all materials they know what they need for the job
