Hiya, just had a wall removed inbetween a lounge and dining room, and had a lintel fitted. There is a gap of about 1 inch between the bare brickwork and the rest of the plastered wall. Does this gap need to filled in prior to plastering, or will a plasterer plaster up in layers to get a nice flush finish?
