Dear Checkatrade, I once rated a tradesperson I used as a 10. However, the work he did has turned out to be problematic and he would not come back to solve the problems despite multiple requests over the course of a year. When I first commissioned him he did not give a written guarantee. He said "I don't give a written guarantee, I simply give you my personal guarantee that if any problems arise I will return to fix them". He has not delivered on this promise. I now think that my earlier 10 rating is misleading to his future potential clients. I would not like other people to use this tradesperson based on my rating. Is it possible for me to update my rating please?
