my cold water upstairs isn't running, hot is working but not cold, tank in the loft is full, been told it might be an airlock, but how do i know? how can i fix?

Hi, Some very good advise offered. But if you can't get another person to help with watching tank/taps, get a wet and dry hoover and place it in the bath. Place the hoover nozzle over the cold tap with you hand making an air tight seal round the tap and nozzle, turn the hoover then the cold tap on and suck the air lock out. This way the only way the water is going to go is into the bath. Regards Keith
