Well as stated some companies dont have a call out charge though it can be anything between £40/55 usually, the hourly rate stated at £15-£25 per hour is a bit low in my opinion we charge £30 ph after the 1st hour and a lot of our competitiors are similiar or more expensive
Hi John, It really depends on your location in the country. We are located in Leeds and we charge £40.00 for the first hour of labour and £20.00 per hour thereafter. You may pay more if the plumber/engineer is Gas Safe registered or if their company charges VAT. To give you a better idea, a callout charge between £35.00 and £55.00 and an hourly rate between £15.00 and £25.00 for a plumber I think would be fair. Again, it all depends on your location John. You may be lucky, some companies don't charge call out fees.
