Our boiler pressure is slowly but surely dropping. If there is a leak

Our boiler pressure is slowly but surely dropping. If there is a leak in the system is there any easy way to detect it or do we have to check all the pipes?

Alex Peters

Hi Peter, well as its a new boiler I assume with old pipe work, and the same thing happened previously, then the easy way out is to use a central heating leak sealer, available from all the merchants, and very easy to add to the system, you can do it yourself easily through a towel rail is easiest if you have one. if you want to give it a try just ask and we can guide you through it

Well if its dropping, it could be from a couple of things, pipe work, safety valve passing, expansiojn vessel etc best to get a boiler engineer to check it for you

What would you like to do now?
