plumber i got from here has built false wall 6ft wide and 6ft high by 11inches to hide the hot and cold pipes for my new shower .he calls himself a plumber ,???

I agree with both responses here. Why don't you engage in conversation with your contractor??? Or wait until the job is complete to see what he is aiming to achieve.

G Thornley, I am not quite sure what your point is. Before the Plumber started the work I assume you agreed what work was required and why. You then agreed to this and job completed has discussed. It is not unusual to box in pipe work going up a wall to hide them especially in Bathrooms and Kitchens. I must admit 11" deep seems a bit big and I would expect the boxing to go upto the ceiling from the floor. If he has built this not inaccordance with agreed instructions then I would get him to rectify immediately in accordance with agreed work. Bill, Pipe Dreams Plumbing Services, Bournemouth, Dorset
