Sorry to ask again but which trade removes obsolete oven gas pipes? What qualifications are needed? How expensive is it to remove one? What's involved? Thanks

even if the pipes redundant it would be the right thing to tightness test the gas supply on completion so use a gas safe fitter

If you are 100% sure that the had pipe is obsolete then a plumber should be ok for this job. If you are unsure then a gas fitter would be your man/woman.
