Take an adjustable spanner & put a rag over the tap, then hold the tap in position by adjusting the spanner on the tap spout. Then with the other hand, take a pair of foot prints to the nut on the valve body & turn anti clockwise. (some times these are extreamly tight & you may need to call a plumber.)
