Can you connect bathroom waste to a kitchen waste pipe?

I am considering buying a property where I would move the bathroom to where the kitchen currently is. Its on the 6th (top) floor of a big block of flats. Is this even possible, can you connect the toilet waste to what is now the current kitchen waste, or is that a huge no no? It an ex council flat too so everything would need to be done right... ...and then the new kitchen waste would also be connected to that same waste - and the old bathroom / toilet waste not used / made good? (since if this IS possible, the front door is between the new bathoom position and the old bathroom waste position?) Just curious before I think any more about it! Can provide floorplans!
