The pressure will not reduce but the flow will. You need a pressure regulator.
Isolation valve.

Hi, please can anyone help, i have high water pressure to my kitchen cold water tap, there is an isolation valve on the pipe leading to the tap if i close this slightly to reduce the flow will it cause any damage to the valve long term. thanks
