Repair or replace power shower?

Posted by Beverley Sherlock, on
Our Triton Aquatronic Thermostatic Power Shower is about 8 years old. I felt like I was getting a mild electric shock when touching the on/off switch. A few days ago the shower switched itself on! We could not stop the flow with the on/off switch, and had to turn it off via the electrical fusebox. I assume it's a problem with the on/off switch connection and the motor. Bearing safety in mind, is it fine to get the shower repaired or would it be safer (or cheaper) to buy a new shower?

Hello Beverley It won't cost a lot to get it repair but no guarantee for it( replaced part will be covered with a guarantee not unit )so I would suggest to get a new unit as it will come with manufactuer guarantee. Regards Rafal

Beverley, It would not be cost effective to try and get it repaired, so I would suggest that you have a new Power Shower installed. Bill Pipe Dreams Plumbing Services Bournemouth (Tel; Bournemouth 512121)
