Shower pump stops working before hot water is gone.

I have a cold water tank in the attic and a hot water tank on 1st floor for the bathroom. My shower runs using a 3bar pump. I found that the pump stops working after use before the hot water has ran out. How can I fix this? Bigger hot water tank?
