Changing radiators

Posted by paul henricksen, on
How can I remove an old radiator to decorate behind before fitting a new one if the end opposite the control valve does not have a lock shield valve to turn off the supply so I can drain it once isolated?

Paul, This could be a can of worms to be honest, and unless your confident I would at least seek advice from someone who is. If you care to email me a picture of both ends of the rad then I may be able to help further. My email address is on my profile page. Robert.
