Condensate pipe

Posted by D Wright, on
I have a 2yr old potterton promax sl boiler. When the heating comes on I am getting water(not every time it comes on though) dripping through the seal and down the plastic pipe onto my worktop. The heating is working and hot water/pressure appear ok. What could be the problem and what solution is there and is this a big job/problem

It sounds like the pipe isn't correctly assembled/bonded correctly/come apart. If it's leaking from the wrong side there is a possibility of hazardous gases escaping. Get a local heating engineer out as soon as you can to inspect and repair.
