Hot Water Cylinder

I live in a 1 floor flat which is electric only and does not have a central heating system/water tank. I am looking to replace my hot water cylinder and confused about the types available. I believe the type I require would be an unvented cylinder but upon investigation I am now getting direct and indirect systems offered to me. Any advice or recommendations greatly appreciated.
